Often quoted in the Globe and Mail, The National Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Bloomberg and Reuters, Ian Grant is a noted commentator on the Canadian technology marketplace. An economist by training, he has worked in the technology industry for more than twenty years. Founding the SeaBoard Group in 1986 Ian has helped many of Canada’s corporations, governments and financiers understand, and develop action strategies to exploit the opportunities presented by new technologies and new markets. Prior to the SeaBoard Group Ian was the founder of the Yankee Group in Canada, a company he led for a decade. In addition to his work with the SeaBoard Group Ian is an active board member of several development stage companies. Ian holds a M. Sc. (Economics) from the University of London (LSE) and a B. A. (Hon) from the University of Winnipeg.
