Michael has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. As President of Allstream, he provides leadership to the company’s 2,000 employees as they deliver a world-class portfolio of innovative business, connectivity and end-to-end IP communication solutions and services to organizations across Canada and the U.S. He joined Allstream in October 2005 and, prior to being appointed President, he was Chief Operating Officer. Before that he served as the Chief Technology Officer for both Allstream and its Manitoba-based affiliate, MTS. He began his career at Nortel Networks. Michael also sits on the board of directors for the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), where he was elected Chair in February 2015, and the board of directors of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). He is a triathlete, skier and pilot.
