expertIP wins industry awards for content and community

The Content Marketing Institute’s recognition program highlights our focus on a highly specific topic and the fact we bring together a unique group of voices

We love it when expertIP’s readers show their love by clicking on articles, sharing their favourites via e-mail or social media or downloading related premium content from Allstream’s resource centre. A little recognition from the best in the industry doesn’t feel too shabby, either.

Late last week expertIP was honoured to receive two bronze medals in the 2013 Content Marketing Awards. Produced by the Content Marketing Institute, the Content Marketing Awards honour excellence in creating highly relevant, informative and engaging stories that bring credibility to new and established brands, facilitating a new kind of dialogue with their customers. Candidates are judged by a list of high-profile marketing and editorial strategists from across North America.

expertIP’s wins include Best Topic Specific Blog and Best Multi-Author Blog. That’s thrilling, because it means we’re telling stories that hone in on the niche that’s most important to our readers: creating value via the strategic use of communications technology. It also means we’re realizing our vision of a true Canadian community of voices — subject matter experts from Allstream, but also industry analysts, respected consultants and a bevy of working IT professionals.
