The 2013 Cloud Computing Survey Results Are In

According to PC Connection’s “2013 Cloud Computing Survey Results”, 70% of organizations are using cloud services or are in the process of implementing them. The survey revealed that:

  • 55% of the above-mentioned organizations are considering a private cloud strategy.
  • The top reason why organizations are moving to the cloud is for improved data backup services and disaster recovery (42%). This is followed by cost savings (40%) and the ability to have 24/7/365 access to applications and data (40%).
  • The biggest cloud concern is security (65%), followed by integration with current networks, applications and systems (34%).
