It’s difficult to protect yourself against mobile threats if you don’t know what you’re up against. With this in mind, IT World has published an article that lists the 5 Worst Mobile Threats of 2012. To build the list, Nominum analyzed DNS data from over half a million users and then defined the greatest threats as “the most widespread malware that meets a baseline level of risk to the end user — for example, malware that attempts to steal a person’s identity and/or money.” According to the article, some of the biggest threats are NotCompatible and Smspacem. See the article for three more major threats, along with ways to protect your company’s mobile devices.
