The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of BYOD Policies

With 94% of companies now letting employees use their personal devices to access corporate data, Perimeter E-Security has released a webinar called, “The 5 Best and Worst Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) Mobile Practices”. The one-hour webinar offers practical tips, such as avoid over-collecting employees’ personal data, as this can lower employee morale and make it harder for you to protect data. When it comes to best practices, the webinar suggests creating a written document that explains both your and your employees’ BYOD obligations. Employees should sign this document when they register their devices. For more of the best and worst BYOD policies, be sure to listen to the webinar.
