After considerable success last year, Allstream and the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal decided to bring back ‘Allstream Morning Trends’ for the 2015-2016 season, with high quality programming aimed at business leaders of all kinds.
These sessions are a unique opportunity to hear from prominent leaders or entrepreneurs as they comment on their industry, current trends as well as the challenges and strategies of conducting business today, with lots of networking opportunities.
Over the next two months, our schedule is as follows:
October 6: Yvan Gauthier, President and CEO of the Foundation of Greater Montreal will outline a report which measures the vitality of Greater Montreal, while addressing major trends in key sectors of Metropolitan. The session, which is entitled “It’s Time To Talk about Greater Montreal’s Vital Signs!”, will allow us to learn about real needs and priorities to better guide our investments in the community.
October 15: Lilianna Pereša, President and Director générale de Centraide of Greater Montreal, will be joining us to present the results of the organization’s recent strategic planning and an action plan it has implemented to meet its long-term objectives. Presented under the them “United Way — more relevant than ever for Greater Montreal,” this will also be an opportunity to learn about social development as a driving force within Greater Montreal and to explore more innovative partnerships.
November 4: Michael Medline, President and CEO of Canadian Tire Ltd. will offer a look inside one of the fastest growing companies in Canada as it builds on its success in the retail sector to financial services. As Canadian Tire continues to innovate in order to exceed customer expectations and offer them an unforgettable shopping experience, this will be a can’t-miss session.
Allstream Morning Trends will continue after the holidays with conferences that offer unique perspectives on current topics presented by high-level speakers. We’ll provide more details later this year. If you’re travelling on business to Montreal this season, I hope you can join us.
